 I am The Real Deal Bob
Steele. I grew up in Central PA and have always loved the great music of the Top 40 era. It started with my Mother and Grandmother buying me records
at yard sales which I would play over and over again. I was always fascinated with radio and always wanted to work in some type of entertainment. My
earliest influence was Elvis which soon grew into a love of all genres of music. The Real Deal Saturday Night Drive-In began in 1996 and is heavily
influenced by the great DJ's of the 60's such as The Real Don Steele, Jerry Blavat (The Geator with the Heator) and Cousin Brucie.
The show has now become a Saturday night staple. Personality radio is dying fast and I intend to do my part to keep the "Boss Jock" sound of the 60's
alive! I have always tried to bring fresh and exciting features and music to the show! If you love the music of the 50's, 60's and early 70's, as well
as TV themes, rare commercials, oddities and rare musical gems, then Tune in!
